West Sussex County Council implements Performance Manager
Hitec Laboratories have announced that West Sussex County Council have implemented their Ten Performance Manager solution.
Local Area Agreements (LAA’s) are contracts between Central and Local Government to deliver the priorities of local people. West Sussex County Council is leading the preparation of an LAA for the county of West Sussex. All public services in the County are also involved, as well as voluntary organisations, private companies and users of local services. These organisations collectively form the West Sussex Strategic Partnership.
Progress toward reaching the LAA targets is now monitored on a regular basis using Ten Performance Manager and resulting reports are available online.
“Since moving to the web based Ten Performance Manager, the collection and reporting of performance information for the LAA has become far more streamlined” commented Clare Blackmore, LAA Performance Manager at West Sussex. “All partners can access the system quickly and easily from any location with an internet connection. Other interested parties can also view the system. For example, our Children's Trust has recently requested access, to enable them to view live data relating to our Children and Young People's Plan. Our Strategic Community Safety Partnership already use quarterly reports from the system to aid their discussions on performance”
“I have had feedback from many of the partners that supply data, commenting on the ease of use and clarity of the system - and a number of them are now using graphs and performance histories from the system to enhance their own performance reports within their services” continued Clare. “Reports from the system are also placed on our website for public access”.
